She Podcasts started in 2014 as a scrappy little Facebook group — a place where women podcasters could swap tips, get quick answers, and not feel like the only woman in the room.
It grew faster than anyone expected. Women added women, word spread, and suddenly there were thousands of us — all in some phase of building, launching, or producing a podcast. The group that started as a small circle of friends became a community of over 21,000.
Because it turns out a lot of women had something to say. They just needed somewhere to say it.
From there came the podcast, the workshops, the coaching, the resources — all of it built around one idea: the more women who have thriving podcasts, the more voices get heard that the world actually needs. We're not here to gatekeep. We're here to throw the doors open.
She Podcasts has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, and across thousands of podcasts and blogs worldwide. And after [X] episodes, we're still showing up.

Elsie Escobar lives at the intersection of technology, digital media, and holistic living — with a serious obsession with audio and what it can do. She's a Digital Media Strategist with deep roots in the podcasting world, a founding member of the Academy of Podcasters, and an inductee into the Podcasting Hall of Fame. She co-founded She Podcasts because she knew women needed a space built specifically for them — and she was right.
Meet Elsie
Jessica Kupferman is the co-founder of She Podcasts and the driving force behind its continued growth. She's a podcaster, coach, copywriter, and keynote speaker known for two things: making people laugh and telling them exactly what they need to hear. She's been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, The Social Media Examiner, and yes, TMZ. She's a founding member of the Academy of Podcasters, a 2024 inductee into the Podcasting Hall of Fame, and has been helping women build, grow, and monetize their podcasts for over a decade.
