She Podcasts LIVE! came about because we wanted to provide a conference that was all about US. We took the camaraderie from our Facebook group, the sisterhood, the support, and the real talk and brought it to an in-person experience. Not only was it a catalyst for TONS of new shows and relationships, but we made inclusivity a priority and has been the only podcasting conference that can say that half our speakers were either people of color, LGBTQIA+, or both.

Our first foray into the conference world began with a Kickstarter for $25K. Imagine our surprise when we raised $50K - enough for us to book a gorgeous hotel and go full hog on the conference tasks at hand. The mission: women-sized T-shirts, some gorgeous swag and most importantly, the chance for over 100 women to teach us what they knew. Initial sponsors included iHeartRadio, NPR, and Wondery.

Fresh off of a pandemic, (sort of) we set off to create something magical and spiritual in Scottsdale. It was an enormous challenge to make sure everyone would be safe, secure and Covid free - but with an amazing event staff and a community of go-getters, anything is possible. Partnerships for this conference included SiriusXM, Spotify, Sennheiser and Shure.
